Published: May 20, 2015
Austin Ejide was in between the pipes on Wednesday as Hapoel Beer Sheva failed to win their first State Cup in 18 years, losing the final to Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv.
For the first time since he arrived Israel from SC Bastia, the Super Eagles goalkeeper conceded six goals in a match.
Swedish striker netted four goals against the Nigerian while teammates Yoav Ziv and Eran Zahavi helped themselves to one goal apiece.
Hoban and Buzaglo scored in the 33rd and 58th minute respectively in the 6 - 2 loss by The Camels, who pay the wages of another Nigeria international John Ogu.
The central midfielder was in action for 90 minutes. Nosa Igiebor was not on the pitch after picking up a caution in the league last week.
Austin Ejide had kept 12 clean sheets in all competitions this term before he was humiliated tonight.
