Emenike Scores First League Goal For Ilves

In his seventh game in the Veikkausliiga wearing the jersey of Ilves, Emenike Mbachu opened his account for the Tampere based outfit, whom he joined in the winter transfer market.
On all counts, it was a moment to savour as Ilves narrowly defeated the guests Lahti 2 - 1, with Emenike opening scoring in the 57th minute and working the full 90 minutes.
The winger had spent 276 minutes on the pitch before scoring his maiden goal in the league for Ilves.
However, in all competitions, the former Maltese - based player netted his first goal in the League Cup on March 8 against Inter Turku.
