Physical Nigerians Hold Canada To Goalless Draw

Only 14 days before their opener at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, African champions Nigeria wrapped up a scrimmage against hosts Canada.
In the friendly held at Toronto FC’s Kia Training Ground on Monday night, the Super Falcons and Canada played out a scoreless draw.
According to reports monitored from Canada, the home team had several scoring opportunities but fluffed them, with Sophie Schmidt hitting the post in the first half.
In their post match comments, the Canadian Ladies admitted that the Super Falcons were too physical on an artificial pitch.
Nigeria are in the so - called group of death at the World Cup along with USA, Sweden and Australia.
