Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Gent striker Moses Simon has been issued a cable visa to New Zealand by the authorities and is set to depart Belgium in the coming hours for New Zealand.
The Golden Boot Soccer Academy product had applied for the traveling document through the Nigeria Football Federation on May 20.
NFF’s international expert, Nasiru Jibril, was in Belgium on Monday to deliver Simon’s international passport.
On the back of his performances for Gent in the Belgian Pro League, the 19 - year - old was included in the Flying Eagles 21 - player roster despite failing to attend a training camp in Germany.
He made the squad list for the 2013 Fifa U20s in Turkey but did not play a single game.
