Three players of Nigerian decent started for Chelsea in their post - season friendly against Thailand All- Stars in Bangkok on Saturday afternoon.
Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel is joined in the starting line-up by England youth internationals Dominic Solanke and Ola Aina.
Defender Ola Aina and Solanke are very important players for Chelsea’s youth teams but the Anglo - Nigerians are yet to make their debut for the first team in the Premier League.
After today’s game, the players will fly to Australia for another friendly against Sydney FC.
The Australians are losing 1 - 0 to Spurs in a friendly currently taking place. England youth international Josh Onomah is on the bench.
