Abdul Sule Hails Wada Boys Display
Published: May 31, 2015
Chairman of Lokoja - based Kogi United, Abdul Sule , has described the
victory against Yobe Desert Stars as fantastic for his boys.
He noted that the display of soccer artistry would assist Kogi United to get their full confidence back.
“Yes, it’s a good feeling we won today, after the poor show in our first game at home, but today it’s three points, three goals, it’s fantastic.
“We had a lot of chances today we could have scored more but I think its better to keep the ball so we are contempt with that.
“There’s a lot of confidence in the team now, we played a very bad game at home (a draw against Spotlight) we went away and got a draw (against Supreme Court) and now we won 3-0 so we are taking the confidence to our next game (at Adamawa) to get something from there.
“This is a real message to the fans that they need to be patient with the team as we are still working towards making the team a force to reckon with,”Sule said.
Kogi United has however garnered five points from three games and would face Adamawa United in Fufore next Saturday.
