Gateway United Coach, Awakan Calls For Patience

Gateway United head coach Olabode Awakan says the club’s followers needs
to be patient as he seeks to steer the Nigeria National League side to
the Nigeria Professional Football League.
A late penalty kick from Tosin Folarin ensured that Gateway United defeated Akwa Starlets 2-1 on Saturday in Ilaro.
“I think we all know that Gateway United deserve to be in a better position and I believe the boys will do well when it matters most, ”the coach stated.
“Our fans should keep faith in the team. Premier league ticket is still within our reach.
“They should expect favourable results in our subsequent matches by the grace of God. ”
Gateway United have one won, drawn one and lost one in the three-week old NNL.
