Chicago Fire Striker Kennedy Igboananike Named To MLS Team Of The Week

Chicago Fire striker Kennedy Igboananike has been named to the Team of the Week for the first time since arriving the MLS from AIK in Sweden.
In the last round of matches, the Swedish - Nigerian opened his goalscoring account in the 3- 0 win against Montreal Impact.
The editors of mlssoccer.com said about Igboananike : “Scored his first MLS goal, set up Harry Shipp for the opener and worked both relentlessly and intelligently on and off the ball.”
The 26 - year - old has been involved in ten games , with 479 minutes of playing time under his belt.
Igboananike is the fourth player of Nigerian descent to make the Team of the Week so far this season, following in the footsteps of Obafemi Martins, Ike Opara and Sam Adekugbe.
