Izunna Uzochukwu has bid farewell to Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland after close to nine years spent at the MCH Arena.
The 24 - year - old was on the bench on Sunday afternoon as The Wolves won their 22nd game of the season by beating SønderjyskE 2 - 1, with goals from Martin Pusic and Marco Ureña.
“The plan is to go somewhere else, experience something new, have a new life and get a new team. A challenge and move on with it, ” said Uzochukwu to fcm.dk TV on Sunday after the league game.
“The best thing is to go somewhere else where I will be able to play as much as I want. I still have a lot to offer out there for people to see.”
