Nwankwo Kanu, Sunday Oliseh And Super Eagles Players Pleased With Falcons Show Of Strength

Nigeria internationals past and present were pleased with the Super Falcons’ show of strength after coming from two goals down to 3 - 3 with one of the favourites to win the Women’s World Cup.
And they took to social media to express their joy following the draw against Sweden, with so many observers writing off the Super Falcons chances after their first half display.
Former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu said : “Well done girls we are proud, that’s the spirit never give up.”
Another ex Nigeria skipper Sunday Oliseh said on Twitter : “This 3-3 is like a win for Naija, as Nigeria makes a spirited start to the female world cup. Now I can sleep well.”
Hull City forward Sone Aluko will be keeping a close eye on the matches in the tournament as his sister Eniola will be donning the colours of the Three Lionesses, and he has gone ahead to pick the game between Nigeria and Sweden as the headline game of the competition.
He said : “What an amazing game and advert for the WWC that was. Had it all. Credit to both teams. Nigeria v Sweeden=early candidate for game of comp!!”
Lazio midfielder Eddy Onazi wrote : “I told you guys our girls are coming back stronger, show some love to the teamð��ªð��¿”
The African champions have now drawn twice against Sweden in the group stages of the World Cup.
