Nwankwo Kanu, Sunday Oliseh And Super Eagles Players Pleased With Falcons Show Of Strength
Nigeria internationals past and present were pleased with the Super Falcons<span class="st"><span class="body1">’</span></span> show of strength after coming from two goals down to 3 - 3 with one of the favourites to win the Women<span class="st"></span><span class="st"><span class="body1">’s World Cup.<br /><br />And they took to social media to express their joy following the draw against Sweden, with so many observers writing off the Super Falcons chances after their first half display.<br /><br />Former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu said : </span></span><span class="st">“Well done girls we are proud, that</span><span class="st"><span class="st"><span class="body1">’</span></span>s the spirit never give up.</span><span class="st"></span><span class="st"><span class="body1">”<br /><br />Another ex Nigeria skipper Sunday Oliseh said on Twitter : </span></span><span class="st">“This 3-3 is like a win for Naija, as Nigeria makes a spirited start to the female world cup. Now I can sleep well.</span><span class="st"><span class="body1">”<br /><br />Hull City forward Sone Aluko will be keeping a close eye on the matches in the tournament as his sister Eniola will be donning the colours of the Three Lionesses, and he has gone ahead to pick the game between Nigeria and Sweden as the headline game of the competition.<br /><br />He said : </span></span><span class="st">“What an amazing game and advert for the WWC that was.
