Lawson Hails The Attitude Of Oshoala After World Cup Debut GoalLagos-based coach, Tunde Lawson, seemed in relaxed mood after the Super Falcons 3-3 draw against Sweden on Monday.

The 2012 National Sports Festival winning coach was no doubt cheered by the late fightback thanks to the good form of Asisat Oshoala, Francisca Ordega, Desire Oparanozie and Ngozi Okobi.

Lawson seemed pleased with Asisat Oshoalas performance when he was interviewed  on Tuesday.

Specifically praising Asisat’s attitude but warned tactically she would have to improve on the final third.

Meanwhile, reigning BBC Womens Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala has expressed joy at netting a goal in her World Cup debut against Sweden at the Winipeg Stadium on Monday.

The sharp shooter netted a 53rd minute equalizer for the seven-time African champions in a six-goal thriller in a match that has been dubbed the best so far in the on-going FIFA Womens World Cup in Canada.

“It was great scoring on my World Cup, but matters most is the team. I just felt more relaxed after scoring such an important goal,” Osohola said.
