Wikki Tourists took a huge step to remaining in the top-four cadre after defeating FC Taraba 2-1 on Thursday.<br /><br />Goals from Samuel Chukwudi and Godwin Obaje in the 35th and 70th minutes were enough to unsettle the Pride of Taraba, who further sunk to the relegation zone. <br /><br />The hosts started the game on high note sending in series of crosses but goalkeeper Haliru Sani stood up to the challenge. <br /><br />The former Kano Pillars goalie was a force to reckon with, saving the Bauchi-based side on numerous occasions.<br /><br />Despite the early dominance, Samuel Chukwudi put the visitors in front when he perfectly connected a tailor-measured pass kept his calm before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper to silence the homers.<br /><br />Fast rising striker Godwin Obaje doubled Wikki&rsquo;s lead against the run of play.<br /><br />
