A last-gasp winner from Kingsley Udoh helped Sunshine Stars defeat Warri Wolves 2-1 in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter played at the Akure Township Stadium on Thursday.<br /><br />The opening stages saw Wolves have the upper hand in terms of ball possession, with Sunshine sitting back looking to hit the visitors on the counter.<br /><br />Ikechukwu Ibenegbu gave Wolves the lead with a fine finish, beating goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa hands down, after being left unmarked in the box.<br /><br />In the 30th minute, the Seasiders launched a counter-attack, with Ibenegbu&rsquo;s decent strike deflecting off Emmanuel Olowo. It was almost goal number two for Wolves.<br /><br />As the half-time break approached, the home side dominated possession in the final third of the pitch, winning a handful of corner-kicks.<br /><br />And they were on level terms when big defender Stephen Eze scored for them.<br /><br />On the stroke of 47th minute, Kingsley Eduwo unleashed a powerful header that left goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi untroubled.<br /><br />Sunshine completely took control of the second half, but they were unable to create clear-cut goalscoring chances.<br /><br />They were given a soft landing when central defender Oke Ogagotewho was sent-off at stoppage time.<br /><br />Sunshine did eventually found the back of the net in stoppage time, when Udoh beat Akpeyi with a brilliant effort for Sunshine&rsquo;s second on the day.<br /><br />Photo Credit : nigeriafootball.com
