Official : Washington Spirit Snap Up Ngozi Okobi From Delta Queens

Through official channels, Washington Spirit have announced the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi, pending receipt of her P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
The representatives of the National Women’s Soccer League club, outfit have held a long-term interest in the 21-year-old and tried to sign the Nigeria international prior to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.
In the last five years, the tricky youngster has been a consistent play for both club and country.
Her performance at Canada 2015 further convinced Spirit top brass to invest in her services.
The 21 - year - old Okobi last represented Delta Queens in her homeland. She joins fellow Nigeria internationals Francisca Ordega and Josephine Chukwunonye at Maryland SoccerPlex.
