Coach Samson Siasia Issues Two - Day Ultimatum To Taiwo Awoniyi, Musa Mohammed And Two Others

Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia has issued a two - day ultimatum to the Flying Eagles players invited to beef up his squad to report to camp or turn down the call - up.
Dele Alampasu, Musa Mohammed, Taiwo Awoniyi and Saviour Godwin were due to arrive in Abuja on Monday to join the Under 23s get - together but failed to show up after they were earlier excused as a result of their participation at the Fifa Under 20 World Cup.
“No player can hold the nation to ransom. This attitude of theirs is unprofessional,” said Samson Siasia.
“When the players arrived from the U-20 World Cup, they called me to beg for a grace period to rest a little, which I did, and they promised to report after one week.
“It is now more than one week and none of them is around.”
Foreign - based trio Umar Aminu, Shehu Abdullahi and Ikechukwu Okorie have started training with the Olympic Team.
Esperance new signing Sokari, Moses Simon, Iheanacho, Yahaya will join the team two weeks before the meeting against Congo.
