Werder Bremen Hat - trick Hero Anthony Ujah Targets More Goals In Official Games
Published: July 05, 2015
New Werder Bremen acquisition Anthony Ujah has spoken of his delight at scoring a hat - trick on his unofficial debut for the Bundesliga team in their 11 - 0 thrashing of Neuruppin.
The Nigeria international chose to play down the large margin of victory, stating that the opponents were competitive even though defensive.
“It was a good test for us as the opponent played defensive all through the game and we kept trying to get to scoring chances,” Anthony Ujah said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I am dedicating this hat - trick to Almighty God and by His grace I will have more to score in official games ahead.”
The former Cologne and Mainz 05 forward could make his official debut when Werder Bremen tackle Würzburger Kickers on July 6 in the DFB Pokal.
And if that is the case, Anthony Ujah will step out onto the turf with the number 21 kit.
