Leke James ended a six - game goal drought in style on Sunday evening by netting a brace for Aalesund in their 4 - 2 defeat of Mjøndalen in the 15th round of games in the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

Dating back to his 56th minute goal against Sarpsborg 08 on May 13, it took him a total of 628 minutes before he registered his name on the score-sheet again for the Color Line Stadium outfit.

The away team led 2 - 0 heading into the interval before Leke James reduced the tally ten minutes after the restart, then, he scored his second goal of the game seven minutes from time.

It is noteworthy that compatriot Akeem Latifu was credited with an assist for Leke James’s second goal.
