Hassan, Kadiri Score As Bayelsa United Beat Warri Wolves

Second-half goals from Oladimeji Hassan and Kadiri Samad gave Bayelsa United a 2-0 victory over Warri Wolves in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter on Sunday.<br /><br />The match played at the Oghara Township Stadium was clearly won by the Restoration Boys, but they were initially frustrated in their attempts to score.<br /><br />However, Hassan and Kadiri registered inside the final half-hour as Bayelsa United moved out of the relegation zone for the first time in many weeks.<br /><br />Bayelsa United midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu struck a 21 metres free kick that canoon off the bar in the 7th minute.<br /><br />The away team too had opportunities too - Michael Ojoyoh spurning perhaps their best effort over the crossbar from close range.<br /><br />Wolves goalkeeper Okeimute Odah was called into the thick of the action.
