Second-half goals from Oladimeji Hassan and Kadiri Samad gave Bayelsa United a 2-0 victory over Warri Wolves in a Nigeria Professional Football League encounter on Sunday.<br /><br />The match played at the Oghara Township Stadium was clearly won by the Restoration Boys, but they were initially frustrated in their attempts to score.<br /><br />However, Hassan and Kadiri registered inside the final half-hour as Bayelsa United moved out of the relegation zone for the first time in many weeks.<br /><br />Bayelsa United midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu struck a 21 metres free kick that canoon off the bar in the 7th minute.<br /><br />The away team too had opportunities too - Michael Ojoyoh spurning perhaps their best effort over the crossbar from close range.<br /><br />Wolves goalkeeper Okeimute Odah was called into the thick of the action. He was at alert to deny Eric Frimpong and Musa Najare in the first half.<br /><br />Ten minutes into the second half, Hassan was at the right place to finish off Tonbara Tiongoli&rsquo;s pass.<br /><br />Substitute Kadiri made it two three minutes from time with a low strike inside the area as Bayelsa United recorded their 4th league win of the season.<br /><br /><br />Photo Credit : nigeriafootball.com<br />
