Kehinde Olanrewaju Goes AWOL From Maccabi Tel Aviv
Published: July 06, 2015
Kehinde Olanrewaju has cast his future with Maccabi Tel Aviv into doubt after boycotting the club’s training camp in Austria.
According to one.co.il, the former Dominion Hotspur striker claimed that his agreement with the Israeli champions is not valid, adding that the Yellows have to pay additional money to the Nigerian club to activate the extra two years in his contract.
For the past two seasons, Kehinde was loaned out to teams in the second - tier and it is thought that one of the reasons he wants to cut ties with Maccabi Tel Aviv is that they will farm him out on loan again next season.
Besiktas, Kasimpasa and Sivasspor have all been credited with an interest for the 21 - year - old this summer.
Kehinde Olanrewaju notched 20 goals in 32 games last season for Hapoel Afula.
