Alex Iwobi Pleased To Play Alongside Chuba Akpom

Nigeria target Alex Iwobi was pleased to be named in the starting line - up alongside childhood pal Chuba Akpom for Arsenal’s pre - season clash against Singapore XI, which ended 4 - 0 in favour of the Londoners.
Both Iwobi and Akpom started out at Hale End before the later rose through the ranks and was promoted to the Gunners first team last season.
The current Arsenal U21s skipper is set to follow suit, with manager Arsene Wenger naming him in his roster for the trip to Asia.
“Mad the journey we have made together , happy to make my debut for @Arsenal & also that my bro @cakpom got A hat- trick,” Alex Iwobi tweeted.
The 19 - year - old Alex Iwobi has been on the books of the Emirates outfit for more than a decade.
