Confluence Queens Console Super Falcons, NWPL, NFF, Over Death Of Akujobi

The management and players of Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) side, Confluence Queens Football Club of Lokoja, have joined the rest of football fraternities to commiserate with the Super Falcons, NWPL, NFF over the sudden death of Super Falcons Media Officer, Gracious Akujobi, who passed away on Thursday morning.
According to a condolence statement released on behalf of the management and players by the club spokesperson Tosin Ojo, described Akujobi’s death as unfortunate.
“The news of Akujobi came as a rude shock to everyone here at Confluence Queens, its sadden and unbelievable that such a hard-working lady died while serving the nation,” Ojo said.
“Her death came at a wrong time for the Women Football and Nigeria as a whole, Confluence Queens will like to commiserate with the Nigeria Women Senior National Team Super Falcons, NWPL, NNL and other football fraternities in the country over
this great loss, while we also pray to God Almighty to give her family the heart to bear the great loss.”
“Gracious Akujobi will be missed not by Super Falcons alone, but the entire Women Football family, we loves her but God loves her most. Rest In Peace Akujobi . ”
