Chidi Omeje Over The Moon After Scoring First Hat - trick In Superettan

Chidi Omeje has spoken of his happiness after scoring a hat - trick in AFC United’s 3 - 0 win over Ljungskile at the Uddevalla Arena on match day 18 in the Swedish Superettan.
After a goalless first half, the Nigerian forward opened scoring in the 54th minute before increasing the tally in the 74th minute, then, he grabbed his third goal just before the final whistle.
“I feel really good for the hat-trick and most importantly for the points because we have lost two games in a row now,” said Chidi Omeje to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It’s feels good to be back in winning ways! I’m really happy! Thanks to my teammates!
“I’m just going to go home and relax that’s the best way to celebrate it.”
Asked about the chances of AFC United qualifying for the play - offs, he said : “Our main objective this season is to stay in the league and I think we can do it.
“We have players who can make that and all we need is just to continue working hard!! With the right attitude we will stay in the league.”
The Vejle product has scored 8 goals ( 6 assists) in 16 games in the league so far this season .
