Nigeria internationals John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses have both been left out of the starting line-up for Chelsea’s Premier League opener against Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.
Manager Jose Mourinho has opted to start Serbia international Nemanja Matiä† ahead of Mikel for the umpteenth time just as was the case during the 2014 - 2015 season.
Brazilian winger Willian and Eden Hazard were selected ahead of Moses in a five - man midfield, with Fabregas and Oscar also expected to start from the blast of the whistle.
Between them, Mikel and Moses recorded 25 Premier League starts last season.
