Anthony Ujah Pleased To Score On Official Debut For Werder Bremen

Anthony Ujah’s pre - season form for Werder Bremen came under scrutiny on Saturday afternoon when The River Islanders tackled Würzburger Kickers in the DFB Cup (2 - 0).
And the 24 - year - old passed the test with flying colours after scoring on his official debut for the Bundesliga side.
After the two teams were unable to separate themselves at the end of regulation time, the game dragged into extra time, but Ujah finally broke the deadlock in the 104th minute before Bartels scored an insurance goal three minutes into the second overtime period.
The Super Eagles striker was pleased to get off the mark in his first competitive match and praised the Supreme being for crowning his efforts with a goal.

Ujah’s tally of ten pre - season goals is his highest since he moved to Europe in 2010 from Warri Wolves.
