League Cup Round Up : Nedum Onuoha, Jabo Ibehre,Dieseruvwe And Obika On Target

A number of players eligible to represent Nigeria were on target in the Football League Cup on Tuesday night.

Carlisle United beat Chesterfield 3 - 1 after extra time to advance to the next round of the competition, with two Anglo - Nigerians on target at Brunton Park.
Jabo Ibehre scored the opening goal of the game in the 75th minute before Chesterfield’s Emmanuel Dieseruvwe restored parity six minutes from time but he was later dismissed in the 91st minute. Ibehre scored his second goal in the second half of extra time.
Jonathan Obika worked 90 minutes in attack and was on target in the 65th minute for Swindon Town in their 2 - 1 loss to Exeter City. Emmanuel Oyeleke made the League Two side’s bench.
Queens Park Rangers, who play in the second - tier these days, are also through to the next round after thrashing Yeovil Town 3 - 0.
