Published: August 15, 2015
Kayode Olanrewaju got back to scoring ways after netting a brace in Austria Vienna’s 5 - 1 thrashing of Mattersburg on match day five in the Austrian Bundesliga.
In back-to-back games against Grodig and Rapid Vienna, the former Flying Eagles star failed to find the back of the net after scoring on his home debut in the 3 - 1 win over Rheindorf Altach in the second round.
In front of an estimated 7, 000 fans at the Generali Arena on Saturday, Kayode first scored in the 42nd minute to give his team a two - goal lead, then, grabbed his second goal in injury time.
Alexander Gogon (2) and Marco Meilinger were also on target for the capital outfit, while Onisiwo scored what turned out to be a consolation for the visitors in the 39th minute.
Third on the table Austria Vienna are guests to Red Bull Salzburg next Sunday.
