Published: August 16, 2015
Olympiakos loanee Michael Olaitan made his league debut for FC Twente but could not prevent his club from losing 4 - 1 to ADO Den Haag in their first home game of the new season.
The ex Flying Eagles attacking midfielder missed a great part of Twente’s pre - season training but was declared fit, having featured for Olympiakos in pre - season.
Apart from Olaitan, who went the distance at De Grolsch Veste , the other Nigerian interest was ADO Den Haag’s teenage Dutch - Nigerian Tyronne Ebuehi but the youngster failed to come off the bench.
The 19 - year - old Tyronne Ebuehi, a defender by trade, suited up 7 times in the Eredivisie last term, including 2 starts.
Next up for Olaitan and FC Twente is an away match against Kingsley Ehizibue’s PEC Zwolle on Sunday, August 23.
