Ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash between Sporting Lisbon and CSKA Moscow, Ahmed Musa has vowed to add to his two - goal haul in the competition.
Prior to the clash against Spartak Moscow , the Nigeria international had fired blanks in three consecutive games in the Russian Premier League, but promised to score against the Army Men’s fierce rivals and he delivered.
“I am happy at the end of the game against Spartak, I promised to score one goal and I scored, ” Musa told reporters, according to bobsoccer.ru.
“Now we have to focus on the game against Sporting because we know it is very important for our team. I want to play in the Champions League once more.”
The CSKA Moscow number 18 added : “The game against Spartak is past tense, we have to forget about it, we have already gotten the three points, we have to focus on the game against Sporting.
“I have this same feeling against Sporting, I am going to deliver on what I promised.”
