Blessing Eleke Targets Slovenian League Top Scorer Award

Top scorer in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, Blessing Eleke, is not resting on his laurels and has vowed to score more goals to help Gorica win their first league title since 2006.
Largely an unknown quantity last season, the Flying Sport Academy product has started making the back pages back in his homeland after scoring five times in the 2015 - 16 campaign.
“ It’s by God’s grace that I have been able to settle down this season, I thank God for that. I think I can do better than I did last season, ” says Blessing Eleke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“It is only God that knows how many goals I’ll score by the end of the season but I believe more goals are coming by His grace. ”
In his debut season in Europe, the 19 - year - old netted 3 goals in 17 matches, an average of 398 minutes per goal.
