Brian Idowu Admits Amkar Perm Have Not Reached Maximum Level
Published: August 16, 2015
Russian - Nigerian defender Brian Idowu has acknowledged that Amkar Perm are yet to reach their optimum level in the new season.
Their performance in the Premier League after five rounds has been a mixed bag after winning two games, drawing one and losing the rest.
“In fact as at now, Amkar Perm have not attained their potential. The game against CSKA Moscow in the fourth round ( 0: 2 ) did not go as planned, ” said Brian Idowu to rsport.ru.
“In the fifth round with Anzhi, the first half was swinging but we came to life in the second half and began to show a fairly good game.
“I think that with time, it will be better.”
Fegor Ogude and Brian Idowu have been involved in every single game contested by Amkar Perm in the Premier League while new signing Izunna Uzochukwu has stepped out onto the pitch 3 times.
