Odion Ighalo Wary Of Southampton Threat
Published: August 21, 2015
Odion Ighalo has been previewing Sunday’s Premier League tie against Southampton and has acknowledged that the opponents are a good team but he expects nothing but victory, nonetheless.
The Premiership newcomers are winless in their first two games of the new season following draws against Everton and West Brom.
“Southampton are a good side, we will need to find more space and defend well because they are a good team,” the Nigeria international told Watford Weekend Preview Show.
“It will be an open game, not like the one against West Brom. Southampton will come out and attack us, but I think we will be able to find space in midfield to attack them and do damage.”
Watford occupy the 12th position while The Saints are 17th on the 20 - team table after two rounds.
