Official : Balzan Swoop For Alfred Effiong

Maltese Premier League club Balzan have struck a deal with Qormi over the signing of Alfred Effiong, writes the official website.
The player has informed allnigeriasoccer.com that the contract is designed for three seasons and he has been handed the number 17 jersey.
The Malta international has been in the Island Nation for the past ten years and got married to a citizen of the country five years ago which made him eligible for naturalization.
Alfred Effiong first played for St. George’s when he arrived in Malta before appearing for ä¦amrun Spartans and Qormi.
He returned for a second spell with Qormi in the 2012 - 2013 season after stops at Marsaxlokk and Valletta.
The 30 - year - old could make his official debut for Balzan on Saturday in their league game against Hibernians.
