Nosa Igiebor To Be Rested Against Bnei Sakhnin
Published: August 22, 2015
Nosa Igiebor is a major doubt for Maccabi Tel Aviv’s first game in the Israeli Premier League on Saturday evening against Bnei Sakhnin at Bloomfield Stadium.
Against FC Basel in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, the attacking midfielder subbed out 19 minutes from time, the first time he failed to last the distance in the Yellows fifth match of the competition this season.
It has come to light that Nosa Igiebor sustained a minor injury after he was hit on the leg by an opponent.
Ahead of Tuesday’s return leg against the Switzerland champions, coach Slavia JokanoviÄ has decided to rest the Nigerian.
Last season, Nosa Igiebor appeared 30 times in the Ligat Ha’al, scoring 3 goals.
