Dele Alli Admits Mixed Feelings After Scoring Maiden Goal For Tottenham Hotspur

Dele Alli was delighted to score his first goal for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League but has spoken of his frustration after Riyad Mahrez popped up to score an equalizer for Leicester City a minute after his goal.
The England youth international was named on the bench for the third straight game in the Premier League but replaced Erik Lamela in the 65th minute.
“First of all, I’m delighted to get some game time,” said Dele Alli to tottenhamhotspur.com.
“Everyone wants to play as much as they can and I’m thankful to the gaffer for bringing me on.
“It was a dream come true, I wanted to score that first goal and I was so happy to do it but when they scored straight after, it completely killed it. ”
The 19 - year - old penned a multi - year contract with Spurs in the winter transfer market but was immediately farmed out on loan to his former club Milton Keynes Dons.
