Ahmed Musa Complains About Fixture Schedule
Published: August 23, 2015
Ahmed Musa has admitted that the games are coming thick and fast for CSKA Moscow, who had to rely on the Nigeria international to level the scoreline in their league game against Rostov on Saturday afternoon.
Early in the 2015 - 16 season, the Muscovites are competing on two fronts - the UEFA Champions League and Russian Premier League - and were involved in six games across all competitions in a space of three weeks.
“The game was very hard, but most importantly, three points in our pocket,” said Ahmed Musa to pfc-cska.com.
“I think it’s because we have quite a difficult calendar, we play a lot of games almost without pause. This affects. ”
If selected by manager Leonid Slutsky, Musa will play his seventh game in the month of August on Wednesday in the Champions League tie against Sporting Lisbon.
