Published: August 27, 2015
England youth international Chuba Akpom hopes to increase his tally of two goals when Hull City take on Preston North End on Saturday in the Championship.
The Arsenal loanee sat out the Capital One Cup win against Rochdale on Tuesday due to a minor knee complaint but has targeted a return to action this weekend.
“It was nice to score in my first two games,” said Chuba Akpom to hullcitytigers.com.
“As a striker, you never want to be waiting too long for your first goal but now I’m up and running, I want more.
“I’ve got to be patient though because we have many more games to come, but it’s down to me to take the chance when it comes my way.”
