Gorica Striker Blessing Eleke Pleased With Brace Against Koper
Published: August 29, 2015
Dream Team VI target Blessing Eleke, 19, was pleased to net a brace on Saturday evening for Slovenian PrvaLiga table - toppers ND Gorica in their 3 - 1 away win against Koper.
Koper’s defenders knew all about Eleke’s qualities before the game at šRC Bonifika and it was not a surprise that they stuck to him like glue throughout the contest but the striker managed to score in each half.
“I thank God for the two goals, it was a very interesting game. I am happy to score again and we won the game,” said Blessing Eleke to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The opponents tried very hard to stop me but God is more than them.
“For now I don’t know how many goals I will score by the end of the season, I can’t decide that on my own.”
Blessing Eleke is the top scorer in the top division in Slovenia, having registered his name on the scoresheet 7 times this season.
