Fred Friday Happy To Score Against Champions Molde

Fred Friday capped off a fine performance by scoring his third goal in five Norwegian Premier League games as Lillestrom shared the spoils with champions Molde on Sunday afternoon.
With the Yellow Canaries trailing the home team 2 - 1 , Friday, who has trained with Nigeria’s Olympic national team, popped up with the equalizer four minutes from time, having come off the bench in the 71st minute
“I am happy to score because I am 100 percent fit, I was injured during the first round of the season, ” Fred Friday told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“As a striker, it’s always a thing of joy each time a goal is being scored by you and I am grateful to God for everything.”
Lillestrom are 12 points behind Viking in the race for the last Europa League spot with only 8 games left but the Bujoc Academy product has refused to write off the chances of his team qualifying for the competition.
The Lillestrom number 23 said : “I think LSK still have a chance to qualify for the Europa League, we are hopeful.”
Central midfielder Innocent Bonke went the full 90 at Aker Stadium and was cautioned in the 10th minute, and Fred Friday became the fourth LSK player to enter the referee’s notebook for the wrong reasons 13 minutes from time.
