Chuba Akpom Withdraws From England Squad

Arsenal loanee Chuba Akpom will have to wait to make his debut for the England Under 21s after his late withdrawal from the squad as a result of injury.
Last week, the 19 - year - old was among the four Anglo - Nigerian players selected by manager Gareth Southgate for a friendly against USA and a Euro qualifier against Norway in September.
Akpom missed Hull City’s 1 - 0 win over Rochdale last Tuesday but returned to the starting XI for the Championship clash against Preston North End this past weekend.
Dominic Iorfa (Wolves) , Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur) and Jordon Ibe (Liverpoool) are all part of the squad expected at St George’s Park.
Iorfa was an unused sub last weekend while Alli and Ibe came off the bench in their respective Premier League ties.
