Desire Oparanozie Scores Four As Falcons Thrash Congo

French - based forward Desire Oparanozie helped herself to a double brace alongside a strike by Chinaza Uchendu as the Super Falcons romped to a 5 - 1 win against Congo - Brazzaville at the All - Africa Games on Sunday.

By the 35th minute, the Guingamp forward had scored a hat - trick before registering her fourth goal in the second half.

In their next fixture on Wednesday, the current African champions will tackle Tanzania, who narrowly lost 1 - 0 to Ivory Coast in their opening match.

As for the men event, The Dream Team VI will tackle Ghana on Wednesday in their first game of the competition following the withdrawal of Egypt.
