Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh Happy With Evolution Of His Team
Super Eagles manager Sunday Oliseh reckons that Nigeria’s 2 - 0 win over Niger Republic in a friendly on Tuesday will raise the level of confidence of his team ahead of their next international fixtures. <br /><br />Goals from CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa and his second - half replacement Moses Simon handed Oliseh his first win as coach of the national team after playing out an insipid goalless draw with Tanzania last weekend.<br /><br />““To win a game is good for the confidence,” Oliseh stated in his post - match comments.<br /><br />“It was important to win and even more important that we won as an organised team.<br /><br />“We are getting more organised, we know what to do now when we lose the ball, but we need to hold the ball much longer and dictate the pace of game.”<br /><br />Nigeria’s next game is against Burkina Faso in the African Nations Championship qualifiers before they face off against Djibouti / Swaziland the following month in the World Cup qualifier.<br /><br />Photo Credit : thenff.com<br />
