Odion Ighalo Pleased To Extend Watford Stay

Odion Ighalo has expressed his happiness at signing on the dotted line to extend his contract with Premier League newcomers Watford.
The 26 - year - old and his intermediaries turned down a huge offer from Chinese club Hebei China Fortune in July and he has now been rewarded by The Hornets for showing his loyalty plus his outstanding form since the start of this calender year.
“I’ve been following Watford since the Pozzos took over, and I came here last year to join the team, ” said Odion Ighalo to watfordfc.com.
“The atmosphere here is great, and playing in the Premier League is something that I have dreamt about.
“We haven’t won any games as of yet in the Premier League, but my aim is to work hard and by the end of the season we hope to achieve the dream of staying here in this league.”
The former Udinese and Granada man will now remain with Watford until June 30, 2020.
