Right Of Reply : Mighty Jets Deny Ten Million Naira Bribery Allegation

Right Of Reply : Mighty Jets Deny Ten Million Naira Bribery AllegationMighty Jets have reacted to allegations that claimed the club collected the sum of N10m naira from Niger Tornadoes FC to withdraw a genuine appeal case with the NFF appeal committee against Niger Tornadoes to aid their undeserved promotion and relegate the team.

Very clear:
Rivalry between Niger Tornadoes FC and Mighty Jets FC:  This rivalry is an unquenchable rivalry in the past, present and future so creating a scenario that Mighty Jets FC is fraternizing with Niger Tornadoes FC is quite disappointing and unimaginable.

N10m Bribe:
The Who, When and Where of this bribery transaction mentioned must be stated.

Please we expect common sense to be applied, Can your rival let down his guard knowing you as a potential risk by involving himself or herself in such allegation.  This crazy and immature.

Imaginary Names:
It should be noted that our supporters are duly registered, we do not pick supporters from the street without appropriate registration.

Salami Gyang to us is an imaginary name since in our data base there is no name of such (Salami - Yoruba name,   Gyang - Birom Name) quite disappointing and immature delusion.

Mighty Jets FC Decision Making:
It should be noted that Mighty Jets FC registered its protest to Disciplinary Committee, also Appealed the decision of the Disciplinary Committee and the Final decision on the appeal is that of Mighty Jets FC not that of Plateau FA, Niger Tornadoes FC nor that of those who published the Fallacy.

Mighty Jets FC has taken its decision in line with the rules and regulations of the league.

 Tool of Crisis:
We want to state very clearly that certain individuals will not in the name of wanting to be promoted to the Premier League use Mighty Jets FC as a tool of creating crisis in the league that has only one Match to go.

We will not be used as a Tool of stalemate to the NNL division A2 by creating the same crisis scenario of 2013/2014 NNL league.

Integrity of Reporting/Journalism:
Mighty Jets FC never involved itself in Match fixing or Bribery, history will show in all local derby involving Mighty Jets FC.

It amazes us that your newspaper will publish unsubstantiated information without adequate investigation. We are willing to see this write up  as one off mistake, but a repeat will be considered as deliberate act to deform the character of Mighty Jets Fc and its management.

Warning to Selfish Clubs:
We are aware that a particular Club in the North want to use the crisis between Mighty Jets FC and Niger Tornadoes as a crest to get at Tornadoes.

And we are aware this club has been sponsoring these propaganda but it is rather unfortunate we can allow ourselves to be used as a catalyst for destroying the league. We have always been a symbol of stability and it will remain that way.

Secretary s Purported Interview And The Position of The Club
:
The Club Secretary was quoted out of contest in the interview to suit certain desperate persons pursuing selfish interests.

When issues as sensible as this arises,  we expect the  Chairman to be contacted and he would now direct the Secretary to release a statement through the Media Department and not the other way round.

Misquoting the Secretary changes nothing as he still has the confidence of the entire Management.
