Dream Team, Super Falcons Lose All - Africa Games Semi - Final Games

Nigeria Under 23s lost 3 - 1 to Burkina Faso in the semi - final of the All - Africa Games on Tuesday evening and will now contest the bronze medal match against hosts Congo in two days time.
Burkina Faso opened the scoring after 11 minutes thanks to Sydney Mohamed Sylla and the scoreboard was reading 1 - 0 at the end of the first half.
In the 73rd minute, Omar Kabore fired past Daniel Emmanuel for Burkina Faso’s second goal but bereaved Daniel Etor, who was introduced in the 69th minute, pulled a goal back for the Dream Team 15 minutes from time to set up a frantic finish.
As the Nigerians pushed for an equalizer, they left spaces at the back and this was exploited by Sydney Mohamed Sylla, who scored his second goal in the 78th minute.
Also on Tuesday, Cameroon sensationally beat the Super Falcons 2 - 1 at Stade Kintélé , with Onome Ebi scoring what turned out to be a consolation goal for the African champions three minutes out of intermission.
