Taye Academy Confirms Emmanuel Amuneke Illegally Transferred Chidiebere Nwakali Economic Rights, Has Kind Words For Kelechi Iheanacho
Published: September 22, 2015The proprietor of Taye Academy, Kennedy Ezenwere, has been contacted to verify claims that Manchester City midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali was on the books of his Academy prior to his move to England.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke smiled to the bank after the Nigeria youth international joined the Citizens in 2014 without a single euro remitted to the bank account of Taye Academy, the legitimate owners of his sporting and economic rights.
“Chidiebere Nwakali is my player, I have his club form with me. What I am doing is a gift from God, I have never given my players conditions when they join my Academy, ” said Taye Academy supremo, Ezenwere, to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Chidiebere Nwakali has been living in my house since 2004 but he denied me. Where is he today? The whole Imo State will testify he is my player.
“After the 2013 African Under 17 Championship, Emmanuel Amuneke threatened to drop him from the squad unless he signs for his Academy.”
But Kennedy Ezenwere had kind words to say about Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who resisted all attempts by Emmanuel Amuneke to illegally transfer his economic rights to his Academy.
“Kelechi Iheanacho didn’t sign anything with me but he remembered me. He told me he’ll never forget me for what I did for him.”
Taye Academy agreed a 350,000 pounds fee with Manchester City over the sale of Kelechi Iheanacho but this website understands that Kennedy Ezenwere was paid only $337,000 (a shortfall of $203,000 or =N=40 million).
