Bernard Bulbwa Reveals Emmanuel Amuneke Never Wanted Him To Join Esperance
Published: September 26, 2015
Nigeria Under 20 international Bernard Bulbwa has no regrets over his decision to sign for Esperance, amid interest from teams based in Europe, and he has targeted more goals for the club.
The Emmanuel Amunike Academy product has been omitted from Esperance’s 18 - man squad for their Ligue 1 tie against Ben Guerdane on Saturday, fueling speculation that the club took the decision due to pressure from his previous club to pay up his transfer fee.
“Espérance is the first club of my life. Coming here was the choice I have made. My academy have never wanted me here, but here I am!” said Bernard Bulbwa to e-s-tunis.com.
“I have only one goal here. My goal is to make fans happy. How can I do that? I need to score goals, give goals and try to help the team in the best way I can to enable the team to win. ”
Bernard Bulbwa made his league debut for Esperance in their 3 - 1 loss to Marsa on September 16.
