Fanendo Adi Misses Out On MLS Team Of The Week But Makes Bench

Portland Timbers Designated Player Fanendo Adi was left out of the Team of the Week for the latest round of games decided in Major League Soccer.
The Nigerian forward notched up his fourth brace of the season on Sunday morning, scoring in each half in his team’s 2 - 1 road victory over Columbus Crew.
But MLSSoccer in conjunction with EA SPORTS FIFA 16 went for Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC), Didier Drogba (Montreal Impact) and Cyle Larin (Orlando City) in attack.
However, Adi was recognized in a little way as he was among the seven players on the substitutes bench.
In the 2015 season, the 24 - year - old has made 29 appearances in the MLS, featuring off the bench 10 times and tallying 12 goals.
