Kelechi Iheanacho On The Road To Recovery, Training With Manchester City Elite Development Squad

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that English Premier League club Manchester City have been handed a fitness boost ahead of their clash against Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Kelechi Iheanacho is on the road to recovery, having trained without any limitation with City’s Elite Development squad before their UEFA Youth League match with Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday.
But it is now left for the team doctors and manager Manuel Pellegrini to determine whether or not the 18 - year - old is in tip - top condition to make the 18 - man squad for the game against The Magpies.
Kelechi Iheanacho has featured off the bench in three Premier League games, scoring once against Crystal Palace.
The Nigeria Under 20 international has eight minutes of playing time under his belt so far this season.
