Boyd Okwuonu Gets Late USA Under 23s Call - Up

Boyd Okwuonu has been called to the United States Olympic Team for the upcoming CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship.
On Thursday, the Real Salt Lake defender was invited following the late withdrawal of Montreal Impact’s Eric Miller, who can no longer feature in the tournament as a result of a groin injury.
Apart from Okwuonu, USA Under 23s Head Coach, Andi Herzog, has named two players of Nigerian descent in his squad list , Fatai Alashe (San Jose Earthquakes) and Gboly Ariyibi (Chesterfield).
Boyd Okwuonu has suited up 3 times for Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer in the ongoing season.
