Odion Ighalo Vows To Replicate Club Form For Super Eagles

Watford striker Odion Ighalo arrived the Super Eagles camp at The Verviers Hotel,Verviers on Sunday night ahead of the national team’s international friendlies against Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon.
On a personal level, the 26 - year - old has stressed that the Super Eagles will approach the two games against the African sides as if they were competitive matches, having in the back of his mind that the World Cup qualifiers are around the corner.
“The games against Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon are normal games, I will approach them the same way I play for my club, ” Odion Ighalo told allnigeriasoccer.com from Belgium on Monday morning.
“Every game is an opportunity for the players to show what you can do, I don’t see them as friendlies.
“I am not promising anything, only God will know what will happen in the games but by His grace we will win.”
This past weekend, Odion Ighalo kept up his good form in the English Premier League, scoring after 45 minutes in Watford’s 1 - 1 draw with AFC Bournemouth.
